The Cottage..
The perfect place to get away from it all, relax, unwind and take in all the breath-taking scenery and nature. The perfect retreat!
A cosy cottage on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, making it the perfect base to explore from. Set within the glorious Northumberland countryside, enjoy the stunning views with nature on your doorstep. It is also set within an official ‘dark skies’ area, providing you with endless stargazing opportunities each night.
Enter through the front door into an open plan kitchen dining area with table and living space. A cosy living area, perfect for relaxing around the TV following a day of exploring. The sitting room has leather sofas, flat-screen television with Freeview and Netflix.
The dining area has a real oak dining table with seating for 4 guests, enabling everyone to sit down and enjoy a meal together. The exceptionally well-equipped kitchen has a oven and hob, integrated appliances, including a fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave. A freezer is also provided in the under-stairs cupboard.
Upstairs, there is the master bedroom, with gorgeous oak furniture, a second bedroom with bunk-beds (ideal for kids) and a bathroom with bath and shower over.
Outside the front door there is a small patio set to enjoy the sun, read a book and just relax! On the development, there is a private tennis court if you fancy a knock!
All linen and towels are provided for your use and complimentary WiFi is available throughout your stay.
For your convenience the following items are provided at the cottage, iron and ironing board, high chair, clothes airer and baby gate. Most major supermarkets deliver to Dipper Cottage, as do a few local takeaways in nearby Rothbury.
The local petrol station is approx. 16 miles away so please fill up before you arrive!
Bookings...
Please take a look at the booking calendar below for availability and prices. If the break is more than 6 weeks away, a £100 deposit secures the dates and the balance and security bond are due 6 weeks before arrival.
During peak periods, standard breaks are Monday to Friday, Friday to Monday, or longer. If your break falls outside of this please send us an enquiry using the link below and we'll do all we can to cater to your request.
We welcome up to 2 small dogs free of charge. For anything else please run it by us first.
Check in from 3pm / Depart before 10am (flexibility can be provided upon request for a small surcharge).
