The Lodge & Country Park...

A stylish, welcoming lodge with gorgeous views across the golf course. Located at the popular Percy Wood Golf and Country Park, just past the Simonside Hills. A great retreat to relax and unwind whilst also being the perfect base to explore Northumberland from.

Set on a wonderful corner plot, overlooking the golf course, it's one of the best locations on the park. You will feel at home as soon as you enter. High ceilings, tastefully decorated and furnished; it has a wonderful open plan kitchen and living area, perfect for socialising with friends and family. The living area opens out onto the large terrace, perfect for relaxing and taking in the scenery.

The open plan living area has a well equipped kitchen including an island with seating. There is a fireplace and large flat screen tv. A corner sofa bed and occasional chair provides seating for up to 6. There is WiFi in the lodge with unlimited data and a smart tv to connect to all the usual TV apps. A full size dining table can seat up to six. There are ample units in the fully fitted kitchen with integrated appliances, including washing machine and dishwasher, undercounter fridge freezer, double oven, gas hob and microwave.

There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, ample storage with fitted wardrobe and drawers. There is an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom can be a king size bed or twin beds, (please request at time of booking) and has fitted wardrobe and drawers. Off the hall is a family bathroom with over bath shower. French doors from the lounge lead out to a huge wrap around balcony with stunning views from your Hot tub and comfortable modern outdoor furniture to sit back and relax and listen to the birds and watch for the wildlife in the park.

The Location...

With 180 acres of parkland Percy Wood Golf and Country Park is home to lots of wildlife including Roe Deer and the elusive red squirrels. The lodge is close to woodland walks and with views of a large pond we have lots of visitors including ducklings, moorhens, heron and wild birds. 

 

Whether you want peace and quiet or active days out there is something for everyone here. For walkers or mountain bikers easy access to the wild rolling Cheviot Hills Fairway View the perfect choice With little or no light pollution imagine relaxing after a day out exploring and enjoying the beautiful dark skies that Northumberland is so renowned for.

 

Located in Swarland it is within easy reach of the A1 and only 8 miles south of the beautiful market town of Alnwick where you can visit just one of the many ancient castles and the home of Harry Potter at Alnwick Castle and Gardens. Stretching up to the Scottish Border and beyond you enjoy the miles and miles of Northumberland’s beautiful beaches, and perfect dark skies.

Druridge Bay Beach is just a 20-minute drive from Percy Wood for those days where you want to soak in the sun hitting the golden sand or if you fancy a bit of retail therapy then visit Morpeth town centre.

Please take a look at the bookings link below for availability and prices. If the break is more than 6 weeks away, a £100 deposit secures the dates and the balance and security bond are due 6 weeks before arrival. 

At peak times. standard breaks are Monday to Friday, Friday to Monday, or longer. If your break falls outside of this please send us an enquiry using the link below and we'll do all we can to cater to your request.

We welcome up to 2 small dogs free of charge. For anything else please run it by us first. 
Check in from 3pm / Depart before 10am (flexibility can be provided upon request for a small surcharge).
