The Lodge & Country Park...

Kingfisher Lodge enjoys a private location in a secluded part of Bockenfield Country Park, with a wonderful terrace area wrapping around the lodge.  

The contemporary open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area is light and spacious, and a tasteful colour scheme of soothing earthy tones creates a wonderful relaxed feel. For the safety and security of our guests and prevention of crime there are external security cameras
 

The lodge features a large dining area with extending dining table, perfectly positioned to take in the view. Behind this, a fully fitted kitchen includes a full array of integrated appliances. The kitchen also includes a microwave as well as integrated dishwasher and washing machine and also benefits from a breakfast bar for more informal dining. The spacious lounge area provides plenty of room to sit back and relax and enjoy a contemporary electric fire and for the winter the lodge has a full central heating system. 

All linen and towels are provided for your use and complimentary WiFi is available throughout your stay. 

We welcome up to 2 small well behaved dogs. For anything else, please run it by us first. 

Bockenfield is a lovely cosy park, well laid out and not too big. It benefits from a welcoming resident's bar which also serves food, essentials, and entertainment during peak season. Take the kids to the play park and watch them enjoy the zip-wire and pirate's ship!  

The Location...
Bockenfield Country Park is the ideal base to explore Northumberland from. Based in Felton, the A1 is only a moment away providing great access to the amazing coastline, castles, and attractions, you won't ever be stuck for things to do. 
Northumberland Zoo is right next door which provides a gorgeous day out for the family. Burgham golf course is just over the road if you fancy a swing or Felton village is a 2-minute drive away where you can grab afternoon tea or a wonderful pub lunch. Morpeth and Alnwick are a 20-minute drive in either direction.

Bookings...
Please take a look at the bookings link below for availability and prices. If the break is more than 6 weeks away, a £100 deposit secures the dates and the balance and security bond are due 6 weeks before arrival. 
Standard breaks are Monday to Friday, Friday to Monday, or longer. If your break falls outside of this please send us an enquiry using the link below and we'll do all we can to cater to your request.​
