The Lodge & Country Park...

Located at the popular Percy Wood Golf and Country Park, just past the Simonside Hills, Manderine Lodge is a homely retreat to relax and unwind in whilst also being the perfect base to explore Northumberland from. As a lodge guest at Percy Wood you also get a complimentary round of golf.

Offering accommodation for 4 guests over 2 bedrooms and a wonderful private terrace with hot tub, overlooking the woods, it offers the closeness of nature and wildlife whilst enjoying your downtime in the relaxing bubbles of the spa.

 

Manderine is a 'home from home', very well equipped, ideal for any time of year. To the front of the lodge there is a wonderful covered terrace, so perfect whatever the weather. 

 

There is a fully fitted kitchen, dining area, and the lounge has comfy sofas and chairs surrounding a feature fire for colder months. There is central heating throughout, making this a warm and cosy lodge all year.

 

There are two bedrooms, the master with an en-suite spacious shower room, a twin room and a full family bathroom with bath and hand held shower.

The Location...

With 180 acres of parkland Percy Wood Golf and Country Park is home to lots of wildlife including Roe Deer and the elusive red squirrels. The lodge is close to woodland walks and with views of a large pond we have lots of visitors including ducklings, moorhens, heron and wild birds. 

 

Whether you want peace and quiet or active days out there is something for everyone here. For walkers or mountain bikers easy access to the wild rolling Cheviot Hills, Manderine Lodge is the perfect choice with little or no light pollution imagine relaxing after a day out exploring and enjoying the beautiful dark skies that Northumberland is so renowned for.

 

Located in Swarland it is within easy reach of the A1 and only 8 miles south of the beautiful market town of Alnwick where you can visit just one of the many ancient castles and the home of Harry Potter at Alnwick Castle and Gardens. Stretching up to the Scottish Border and beyond you enjoy the miles and miles of Northumberland’s beautiful beaches, and perfect dark skies.

Druridge Bay Beach is just a 20-minute drive from Percy Wood for those days where you want to soak in the sun hitting the golden sand or if you fancy a bit of retail therapy then visit Morpeth town centre.

Please take a look at the bookings link below for availability and prices. If the break is more than 6 weeks away, a £100 deposit secures the dates and the balance and security bond are due 6 weeks before arrival. 

At peak times. standard breaks are Monday to Friday, Friday to Monday, or longer. If your break falls outside of this please send us an enquiry using the link below and we'll do all we can to cater to your request.

We welcome up to 2 small dogs free of charge. For anything else please run it by us first. 
Check in from 3pm / Depart before 10am (flexibility can be provided upon request for a small surcharge).
